The injured captain was in attendance
Lionel Messi may not have been fit enough to face Inter Milan on Wednesday night, but the Barcelona captain was in attendance from the stands to cheer his side on.
The Argentine, with his injured arm in a sling, took in the action with his son Thiago, as the Spanish champions faced the Serie A side.

Messi has been ruled out for three weeks with the injury he picked up in the win over Sevilla.
Ernesto Valverde opted to bring in Rafinha as Messi’s replacement. The Brazilian repaid his manager’s faith by opening the scoring on the half-hour mark.
