Suarez expected to miss three weeks with latest injury

Luis Suarez is reportedly set to miss the next three weeks of action after picking up a leg injury in Barcelona’s 3-1 defeat to Levante on Saturday.

Barcelona confirmed after the match he faces a spell on the sidelines, while various reports have claimed he will be out of action for three weeks.

If that proves to be the case then it’s likely he will only miss Barcelona’s games this week against Slavia Prague and Celta Vigo.

La Liga then pauses for the last international break of the year, with Suarez likely to miss Uruguay’s friendlies against Hungary and Argentina.

Barcelona’s next fixture is not until November 23rd at Leganes which Suarez might be back in time for, or failing that there is the visit of Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League on November 27th.
