The boss wants the World Cup winner back

In a shocking twist of events, Barcelona have managed to bungle yet another high-profile transfer. The club is in a tough financial situation and has been forced to sell players for a portion of their value in order to resign Lionel Messi.

A vital part of that goal is to get rid of massive contracts. Many of the large contracts that currently exist at the club aren't all that desirable for other teams and the players don’t want to bail on big existing deals. That leaves someone who’s actually worth the money Barca paid for him in Antoine Griezmann.

The Frenchmen is reportedly being courted by his old boss Diego Simeone who is said to be “pressing” the champions to bring Griezmann back this summer.

Atletico have reportedly offered Saul Niguez in return, but Barcelona are apparently keen on a Joao Felix swap deal. This seems like it’s going to happen and we just have to wait to see if Barca get any of their investment into Griezmann back in return.
