Saul’s agent responds to Griezmann swap rumors
Could the midfielder be on his way to Barcelona?
Saul Niguez’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, has been talking about the midfielder’s future amid rumors he could move to Barcelona as part of a swap deal.
The Catalan giants are reportedly in talks with Atletico over a deal that would see Saul arrive and Antoine Griezmann return to the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium.
Barnett has offered a brief update on the situation and isn’t ruling out the 26-year-old staying with the Spanish champions.
“Saúl will do with his future what is best for Saúl. Nothing has been decided, Saúl has as many options to stay as he does to leave.”

It had been thought that Saul was heading out of Atletico this summer even before the Barca rumors started up. The midfielder has fallen down the pecking order and was thought to be keen on a new challenge.
Liverpool have been regularly linked with a move for Saul with the Reds in the market for a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum who left on a free and moved to Paris Saint-Germain.
