Barca reach agreement with Spain over Lamine & Cubarsi
A plan has been put in place
Barcelona have reportedly reached an agreement over how teenagers Pau Cubarsi and Lamine Yamal will be used by Spain over the summer.
The duo look set for a busy off-season as they are both set to be called up for Euro 2024 and the Paris Olympics.
However, Barca are mindful of how Pedri has struggled with injury after playing a crazy amount of games for club and country in 2021-22 and want to avoid a repeat.
Diario Sport are reporting that the agreement has been reached whereby the two players will only feature at the Olympics if their participation at Euro 2024 is “minimal.”
If Luis de la Fuente does end up relying on the duo in the tournament in Germany, then both players will be granted some much-needed rest before the start of the new season.
Euro 2024 is due to kick off on June 14 - with Spain set to face Croatia, Italy and Albania in the group stages.
