The Brazilian will face his parent club

Vitor Roque is looking forward to a “special match” against Barcelona on Saturday when he faces his parent club with Real Betis.

The Brazilian has told Gol that “God willing, I’ll score” but also claimed he would not celebrate if he does find the back of the net against the Catalans.

Vitor Roque also looked forward to the game and had praise for Raphinha who he says helped him a lot at Barcelona.

“It’s a team that has proven to be one of the best in the world, both in the Champions League and La Liga. It will certainly be a special match,” he told ESPN.

“He helped me a lot, since when I arrived,” Roque said of Raphinha. He’s a guy that people doubted a lot and today he shows that he can do what he did at Leeds before. And he’s a guy that can help any team in the world. And he’s demonstrating that today at Barcelona and I’m very happy for him.”

The Brazilian was also asked about his future but says he’s just focused on trying to do a good job for Betis during his loan stay.

“My biggest aim is to have an excellent season here at Betis, help the team as much as I can with goals, assists, fighting for every ball,” he added.

“And God willing, I can also make the national team, which is one of my biggest dreams. Only God knows what will happen in the future.”

Vitor Roque has so far scored three La Liga goals for Betis, with his last strike coming against Celta Vigo in November.
