Barcelona confirm Dembele out with hamstring injury
More bad news for Ronald Koeman’s men
Barcelona’s bad weekend got even worse on Sunday when the club confirmed that Ousmane Dembele has suffered a fresh injury and is set for a spell on the sidelines.
The 23-year-old came on as a substitute at half-time of Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Cadiz but has picked up a hamstring problem.

Barca have offered no clues as to how serious the injury is or how long Dembele is set to be sidelined for, but there’s no doubt it’s a real blow for club and player.
Dembele had enjoyed an injury-free run since making his long-awaited comeback this season and has scored four times for Barca in 2020-21.
The 23-year-looked to be finally making up for lost time at the Camp Nou, but this setback is a real blow. Let’s hope it’s not serious and he’s back in action soon.
