Araujo’s camp ‘concerned’ about Barcelona exit talk
The defender is no longer viewed as untouchable
Ronald Araujo is reportedly starting to have doubts over his Barcelona future amid speculation the club could look to sell him this summer.
Catalunya Radio are reporting that Araujo wants to stay but is well aware of the current transfer rumors floating about regarding a possible exit.
It’s even claimed that Araujo’s camp are “concerned” about the speculation and are not ruling out a summer exit.
Bayern were linked with Araujo in January and could be tempted to reignite their interest in the summer transfer window.
It’s widely known that Barca could really do with making a big sale this summer to ease their financial concerns and Araujo would certainly bring in a decent amount.
The fresh speculation about a possible exit has arisen in the wake of Barcelona’s Champions League exit to Paris Saint-Germain.
Araujo was sent off in the crucial second leg tie for a last man foul on Bradley Barcola and was unhappy with criticism from team-mate Ilkay Gundogan after his red card.
