The great majority of the youth teams at FC Barcelona are preparing for the coming season and in the friendly matches that are currently taking place, there are plenty of snippets of the quality of the youngsters at La Masia to enjoy. One of the most spectacular goals of the campaign so far came on 5 September at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, in the contest between the Barça U12 B side and Sant Cugat that ended with a 3-0 victory for the blaugranes.

The star of the show is Sergi Oriol. Watch how the youngster picks the ball, turns away from his man beautifully and to leave himself one on one with the keeper. He remains calm and slides a wonderful finish inside the far post.
