Piqué returns to the squad for the league game at Celta

After missing the first four league games of the season due to suspension, the defender could make his debut in the league in 2015/16

The LFP (Spanish Football League) have announced that the Week 9 game between FC Barcelona and Eibar at Camp Nou will be played on Sunday 25 October at 6.15pm CET.

Luis Enrique has announced the list of 18 players who will make up the squad for the trip to Celta Vigo (Wednesday 8.00pm CET).  The main talking point is the return of Gerard Piqué after having served a four game ban and now will be able to play his first game of the league season. The bad news is that Sandro Ramírez will not make the trip to Vigo. The striker has a bruised left leg and joins his Douglas, Bravo, Vermaelen and Rafinha on the injured list.

To complete the squad list Luis Enrique has once again included B team midfielder Gerard Gumbau. As such the full squad list is as follows: Marc-André Ter Stegen, Gerard Piqué, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets, Dani Alves, Andrés Iniesta, Luis Suárez, Leo Messi, Neymar Jr, Mascherano, Marc Bartra, Munir, Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto, Adriano, Mathieu, Masip and Gumbau.

The final training session

Before travelling to Vigo the first team took part in their final training session at the Ciutat Esportiva ahead of the game against Celta. Luis Enrique had all his available players at the session as well as B team members José Suárez and Gerard Gumbau.

The will travel to Vigo on Wednesday to return to league action against Celta in the fifth round of matches in La Liga.
