Barcelona confirm Philippe Coutinho out for around three weeks
His debut will have to wait
Barcelona have confirmed that Philippe Coutinho will have to wait to make his debut for his new club as he has a thigh injury that will rule him out for around three weeks.
The Brazilian underwent a medical on Monday morning but will not be in action for a little the club confirmed on their official website: “Coutinho has an injury to his right thigh and he is expected to be out for around three weeks.”

That means Coutinho will miss the Copa del Rey clash second leg against Celta Vigo as well as La Liga meetings with Real Sociedad, Real Betis and possibly Alaves too.
Coutinho may have to wait until next month to debut with a trip to Espanyol on February 4 followed by games against Getafe and Eibar.
