Sevilla send message to Barcelona ahead of Copa del Rey final

Sevilla were quick to respond to Barcelona’s Copa del Rey win over Valencia by sending Ernesto Valverde’s side a message after they booked their place in the final.

Goals from Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic confirmed Barca were into their fifth Copa del Rey final in a row as they cruised to a 3-0 aggregate win.

Barca have won the last three finals but Sevilla definitely seem to be looking forward to the encounter.

Of course Barca beat Sevilla 2-0 in 2016 with extra-time goals from Jordi Alba and Neymar sealing the win.

It was a pretty memorable game as Barca played most of it with 10 men after Javier Mascherano had been sent off in the first half. Sevilla then had Ever Banega sent off in stoppage time at the end of the 90 minutes and then Daniel Carrico right at the end.
