Unbeaten Barcelona make La Liga history against Valencia
Barcelona made La Liga history on Saturday as they beat Valencia 2-1 at Camp Nou to make it 39 games unbeaten in the competition - a new record.
Luis Suarez sent the hosts on their way, a Samuel Umtiti header made it 2-0 and Barca survived a nervy finish after Dani Parejo pulled one back late on from the penalty spot.
It’s been a super tough week for Barcelona but this is still a pretty impressive achievement that deserves real respect and will take some beating.

Games unbeaten in @LaLiga!!
It also means that with just six La Liga games left to play Barcelona are still on target to go through the league season unbeaten - something that’s not been managed yet.
Can they do it?
