Barcelona to play friendly against Sundowns in May

Barcelona are set to play a friendly in South Africa at the end of the season and will take on Mamelodi Sundowns on 16 May.

The team will play at the FNB Stadium just 10 days after their final La Liga fixture against Real Sociedad at the Camp Nou.

It’s not known what kind of a team Barcelona will put out and whether their key stars such as Lionel Messi, Philippe Coutinho and Luis Suarez will play in the game.

Barcelona have taken on the Sundowns before in 2007 when a team containing Victor Valdes, Samuel Eto’o and Ronaldinho came from behind to win 2-1.
