Busquets says players are united again plans to play abroad
They want what’s best for football
Sergio Busquets has offered his view on controversial plans to play La Liga matches in the United States.
Representatives of the 20 top flight clubs have met to discuss the plans. Busquets made it pretty clear what the players think of playing abroad.
“We’re all united, the union is strong and as our president has said, we all think the same way on this,” Busquets said.
“Together we are stronger and this (opposing the plans) is a path that we all want to take and we believe it’s what is best for football.”

Spanish Footballers’ Association president David Aganzo has said players are “outraged” and refused to rule out the possibility of a strike.
La Liga president Javier Tebas has admitted that playing El Clasico outside of Spain is “not viable.”
