Coutinho scores for Brazil as Arthur makes first start

Tite’s men thrashed El Salvador 5-0

Philippe Coutinho was on target for Brazil as they beat El Salvador 5-0 in a friendly at the FedExField.

Tite made plenty of changes to his side which also meant a first Brazil start for Arthur in midfield.

An early Neymar penalty put Brazil in front, before Richarlison doubled their lead on 12 minutes with a stunning strike.

Coutinho lead a fast break away to score the third. He eventually finished off the move with a low strike from the edge of the box.

Richarlison scored again after the break, before Marquinhos completed the rout with Brazil’s fifth of the net.

Coutinho played 54 minutes before being given a breather, while Arthur was replaced by Andreas Pereira with 20 minutes to go.
