OFFICIAL: Barcelona agree Munir deal with Sevilla

The forward will head to Pablo Machin’s side

Barcelona confirmed on Friday they have agreed a deal with Sevilla for forward Munir.

The 23-year-old is set to join Pablo Machin’s side in January subject to signing a contract and completing a medical.

Here’s Barca’s official statement:

“FC Barcelona and Sevilla FC have reached an agreement for the transfer of the player Munir El Haddadi.

“The Andalusian club will pay FC Barcelona 1,050,000 euros to sign the striker.

The Club would like to thank Munir El Haddadi for his dedication and commitment and wishes him all the best for the future.”

Munir has made 11 appearances in all competitions for Barca this season, scoring twice, but will now continue his career at Sevilla.

Machin’s side are flying high in La Liga this season, they are in third place in the table just two points behind Atletico Madrid in second.

Munir was expected to move on this season, as he’s out of contract in the summer and had been unable to agree a new deal with Barca.
