Dembele passed fit ahead of Barca’s trip to Athletic

The Frenchman is ready to return

Barcelona confirmed on Saturday that Ousmane Dembele is fit and ready to return to action ahead of the champions’ trip to Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.

The Frenchman has been out of action since spraining an ankle against Leganes in January but returned to training this week and is back in the squad.

The news is a big boost to Ernesto Valverde’s side who are already missing Arthur due to injury and Jordi Alba because of suspension for Sunday’s match.

Dembele was in superb form before his latest injury lay-off.

The 21-year-old had managed eight goals and four assists in his last 15 games for Barca - let’s hope he can pick up where he left off.
