Alba signs new deal, hopes Messi also stays until 2024
The full-back has extended his deal at the Camp Nou
Jordi Alba put pen to paper on his shiny new Barcelona contract on Monday which will keep him at the club until 2024.

The left-back held a press conference afterwards where he talked about Lionel Messi and how he hopes he can continue to play with the GOAT for a long time.
“He [Messi] makes you a much better player. By his side I have grown a lot, I have noticed the improvement. I have matured a lot as a player and as a person,” he said.
”I hope Messi stays as long as I am here as we will all enjoy it. My goal now is to stay as long as possible and keep playing for Barca.”

Messi’s current deal runs until summer 2021 but president Josep Maria Bartomeu has been talking this season about extending it even further.
