Luis Suarez enjoys Ajax’s Champions League win over Real Madrid

The striker had a message for his former team

It’s fair to say Luis Suarez enjoyed Ajax’s stunning win over Real Madrid in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Barcelona striker took to social media after the game with the message: “Congratulations, I have always been a fan of Ajax.”

Of course Suarez spent four years at Ajax before moving to Liverpool and then on to Barcelona.

The win propels Ajax into the quarter-finals of the Champions League for the first time since 2002-03, while the holders are out.
