De Jong talks lovingly about training with Messi

The midfielder is looking forward to his Barcelona move

Barcelona’s newest midfielder, soon enough anyways, Frenkie de Jong talked pretty excitedly about training with Lionel Messi. The interview itself is pretty great, De Jong looks like a kid who just found out he’s going to the chocolate factory for a week. You gotta love genuine excitement from a footballer.

“I am so excited to see Messi during training, I think I am just going to pass every ball to him!” he said.

”I won’t change the way I am no matter if I will receive more spotlights at Barcelona. I am curious how I will perform there and I am eager to learn from the best around me there.”
