Klopp talks Messi ‘threat,’ says Liverpool miss Coutinho ‘a lot’
The Reds boss has been giving his view
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp had plenty to say about Barcelona ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final at the Camp Nou at his pre-match press conference.
The Reds boss spoke about Lionel Messi’s promise at the start of the season “to bring this beautiful trophy back” and said it “sounded like a threat to me!”
Klopp: "Messi said before the season started 'we want to bring home this cup'. That sounded like a threat to me. We want to go to the final as well."

The German also talked about Philippe Coutinho, who will face his former team, and admitted the Brazilian is greatly missed at Anfield.
“We miss Phil Coutinho a lot because he is a world class player and I loved working together with him but we had to deal without him and we did well,” he said
”When I first heard he wanted to go to Barcelona I couldn’t imagine it would be good, but we did good.”

Klopp also went on to say a draw “would not be the worst result in the world” but went on to insist that his team would be going for the win.
