Ter Stegen ruled out of Copa del Rey final
The goalkeeper is still struggling with a knee problem
Barcelona confirmed on Wednesday that goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen is still struggling with a knee injury and will miss the Copa del Rey final on Saturday.
The Germany international missed Sunday’s draw with Eibar because of the problem and will not play for the club again this season.

His injury situation also means he has been left out of Germany’s latest squad for their Euro 2020 qualifiers against Belarus and Estonia.

The news will not be a massive setback to Barcelona as Jasper Cillessen was always the favourite to start Saturday’s final against Valencia.
Ter Stegen’s injury also means that Barcelona B goalkeeper Inaki Pena is likely to be on the bench again for the Spanish champions at the weekend.
