Todibo gets late call-up to France Under-20 World Cup squad

The Barcelona defender replaces William Saliba

Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo has received a late call up to France’s squad for the Under-20 World Cup in Poland.

The 19-year-old, who moved to the Camp Nou during the winter, replaces Saint-Etienne’s William Saliba due to injury.

Todibo’s move to Barcelona was brought forward after a dispute with his former side, but he has gone on to feature for the first team this season against Huesca and Celta Vigo in La Liga.

He will now join up with the French team who will face Panama, Mali and Saudi Arabia in the group stages.
