Dembélé won’t be part of the Neymar deal, Todibo’s responsibility grows, Valencia want Rafinha
Dembélé stays
Ousmane Dembélé will not be part of any swap deal for Neymar, according to Cadena COPE. They say that the player has no intention of leaving, Barcelona consider him non-transferable, and they trust in him for the present and for the future. The report also says he’s ready to connect with his compatriot and new club teammate, Antoine Griezmann, on the pitch.
Trust in Todibo
With Barça missing out on Matthijs de Ligt, they looked towards possibly bringing in Victor Lindelöf from Manchester United, according to Mundo Deportivo. However, rumor says United said no to them, and therefore, Barça will put their faith in Jean-Clair Todibo to be next season’s #4 centerback after Gerard Piqué, Clément Lenglet, and Samuel Umtiti.
Rafinha haggling
Valencia are interested in signing Rafinha, but at a lower price than Barcelona are asking for, per Diario SPORT. Barça ask for 15 million euros for the 26-year-old midfielder, who has one more year left in his contract. However, it’s understood that the Catalans are under pressure to sell, since they need to raise funds for their own purchases and they are unlikely to want to keep Rafinha for the last year of his contract.
