Guillermo Amor also spoke about Neymar

Barcelona director Guillermo Amor has confirmed reports that the club have an agreement in place with Bayern Munich for Philippe Coutinho.

Reports broke earlier on Friday that Coutinho could be headed to Bayern on loan for the rest of the season, and Amor confirmed the Brazilian could be off to Germany to Movistar.

“I can confirm that there’s an agreement in principle in the case of Coutinho’s loan,” he said.

The deal does not seem to be completely done yet, but Coutinho was also left out of the squad to face Athletic Bilbao and it seems a move away is close.

Amor was also asked about continued speculation that Barcelona will move for Neymar but was pretty non-committal with his answer.

“Neymar? What has to happen will happen while the market is open but the most important thing is to start La Liga well.”

If Coutinho does head off to Bayern it will likely have an impact on any deal for Neymar. The former Liverpool man had been expected to move to PSG as part of the deal.
