Following a depressing, pathetic performance and result against Slavia Prague in the Champions League Barcelona return home to Camp Nou for one more game before the final international break of 2019.
As much as we all hate the international breaks, this is actually good for Barça fans because we won’t have to watch this team for two weeks. This has been really bad lately, and it’s still mind-boggling that Ernesto Valverde hasn’t been sacked yet. Maybe the board is waiting for a loss this weekend, or in El Clásico in six weeks, or maybe they’ll stick with him until the end of the season. Whenever he does finally leave, it will be too late, and it’s become increasingly boring and annoying to watch and support this team.
Barça face a tough game this weekend against a Celta team in the relegation zone and in desperate need of points, and the Celeste know how to make it tough for Barça in the Greatest Stadium on Earth. Denis Suárez returns to Camp Nou looking for revenge, Iago Aspas always scores against us, and our defense is really easy to score against right now.
But hey, who knows: a big win on Saturday followed by a coaching change during the break and we’ll be really excited two weeks from now. Hard to see any of that happening, though. It’s that bad.

As much as I want the manager gone I will never root for my team to lose for that to happen, and Barça are the only team in the league to win every home game so far: 3-1 to the good guys.
