Ansu Fati will not leave Barcelona on loan, says his father

The 17-year-old signed a new deal this week

Ansu Fait’s father said this week that his son doesn’t have intentions of leaving Barcelona this transfer window on loan. Barcelona recently gave Fati a contract extension till 2022 with a large release clause, causing speculation that he was about to go on loan.

“Why would he leave in this window? He is youthful and he is training with Barça, learning from the best.

He is very happy; he cannot ask for more from Barça. He knows that he is youthful and that he cannot come down.”

Gotta say, it’s nice to hear a players’ father be positive for once. Let’s hope if things ever get cold between Fati and the club, Boris remains just as complimentary.
