After a great 1-0 win against Atlético Madrid and a full week of training, Barcelona are back in action in La Liga with a home game against relegation candidates Mallorca, and Barça are big favorites to win this one.

Consider these facts: Barça have won all six games at home, best record in the league; Mallorca have lost all six games on the road, worst record in the league. Barça have the best home attack in the league; Mallorca have the third-worst defense. Barça are unbeaten in five; Mallorca have won one of their last six.

Barça have dominated bad teams at home this season, and with Lionel Messi getting better with every game and the defense finally looking somewhat competent it is hard to expect anything but a great win. The thing is the win also has to come with a great performance, because El Clásico is just 10 days away and Barça must be in top shape to win that game.

Go out, face a bad team, dominate. That’s your job this weekend, Barça. Do it.

POSSIBLE LINEUPS

Barcelona (4-3-3): Ter Stegen; Roberto, Piqué, Lenglet, Firpo; Rakitic, Busquets, De Jong; Messi, Suárez, Griezmann

Mallorca (4-3-3): Reina; Sastre, Valjent, Raíllo, Gámez; Febas, Baba, Sevilla; Rodríguez, Budimir, Kubo

I’m expecting a good performance with plenty of goals: 4-0 Barça.
