Carles Alena joins Real Betis on loan

Barcelona confirmed on Saturday they have agreed a loan deal with Real Betis for midfielder Carles Alena.

The 21-year-old will spend the rest of the season with Rubi’s side where he will hope to see some game time after struggling for minutes at the Camp Nou.
“FC Barcelona and Real Betis have reached an agreement for the loan transfer of Carles Aleñá until the end of the season.
“Real Betis will take over the player’s registration, but the agreement doesn’t include any purchase option.”

Alena also posted a message on Twitter saying he was “very happy” to be joining Betis, let’s wish him well for the rest of the season.
