Valverde warns Barca of Napoli danger
The boss thinks his side have been handed a tough draw
Ernesto Valverde has warned Barcelona they face a dangerous team in Champions League last 16 opponents Napoli.
Barca were paired with the Serie A side in Monday’s draw and Valverde is expecting a great atmosphere in the first leg at the Stadio San Paolo.
“Napoli are a dangerous team. Maybe they’re not in their best form but it is a tough draw. There will be a great atmosphere at their stadium for the first leg,” he said.
“You never know how the two teams will be when the games come around. They have good players in attack, like Mertens and Insigne.
”There will be a fierce atmosphere at a stadium where the fans are right on top of you. We’re used to playing in these atmospheres and it will be nice to experience everything that’s generated around this game in Naples.”

Napoli qualified after finishing second behind Liverpool in a group also containing Red Bull Salzburg and Genk.
The club changed managers shortly after making it through to the knockout stages and have replaced Carlo Ancelotti with Gennaro Gattuso. The new boss suffered defeat in his first game in charge, going down 2-1 at home to Parma on Saturday.
