Barcelona cool interest in Fabian Ruiz - report

Barcelona have reportedly cooled their interest in Napoli midfielder Fabian Ruiz due to the 23-year-old’s high price.

The Catalan giants have been repeatedly linked with a move for the Spain international but may find he is out of reach, financially at least.

Mundo Deportivo reckon that Barca view a move for Ruiz as economically “unfeasible” and do not want to get involved in a bidding war.

Indeed the report states that Barcelona have now turned their attention from Ruiz to Dinamo Zagreb’s Dani Olmo instead.

Real Madrid are believed to be interested in Ruiz, while Napoil are said to be determined to keep hold of their young midfielder.

Barca will have the chance to see Ruiz up close in February when the two teams meet in the last 16 of the Champions League.
