Barcelona plans a transfer window of renovation

FC Barcelona has three main targets for next year, which include two superstar forwards, according to Diario AS. Lautaro Martínez, Neymar, and a defender are on Barça’s shopping list, or so they say.

Martínez is tipped to be Luis Suárez’s replacement, whether the Uruguayan leaves in the summer or soon after. Inter Milan will be asking for a hefty fee in exchange for Martínez, but Barça are said to think he is exactly who they want.

Meanwhile, the soap opera of Neymar’s return continues. Recent reports in Catalan media have said that Barcelona will pay 180 million to Paris Saint-Germain for the Brazilian.

The progress of Ansu Fati, alongside the possible signing of Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb, and the return of Neymar, all could spell the end of Ousmane Dembélé’s time at the Camp Nou.

Meanwhile, there are reportedly three possible candidates to be Barcelona’s long-term replacement for Gerard Piqué: Matthijs de Ligt (Juventus), Andreas Christensen (Chelsea), and Diego Carlos (Sevilla).

De Ligt has been a long-term objective of Barça’s, although his agent, Mino Raiola, recently spoke about why the Catalans failed to bring him last summer. At the moment it seems there is not a lot of confidence that Jean-Clair Todibo will become a starter.
