Milan confirm interest in Todibo
But a deal is not done yet
AC Milan sporting director Ricky Massara has confirmed reports his side met with Barcelona to discuss a move for Jean-Clair Todibo.
The young French defender has been tipped to leave in the January transfer window, and Massara has given an update on talks between the two clubs.
“It wasn’t a raid, we are evaluating if there is the opportunity to further reinforce the squad. Along with Todibo, there are other profiles we are studying.
“He is an interesting player, we’ll verify if the conditions are right for Milan, otherwise it won’t be a problem to look elsewhere.
“The transfer market is always dynamic in January with situations evolving continually. Now we believe a defender is needed to complete the squad, but we’ve got time until January 31.”

There are a few reports about this deal floating about currently. Todibo reportedly only wants to leave on loan, while AC Milan are keen on a permanent deal for the 20-year-old.
