Barca captains left ‘uneasy’ after Barto meeting - report
The president met the players to discuss recent events
Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu reportedly met with the club’s four captains on Tuesday to discuss recent reports the club paid a firm to discredit players online.
According to ESPN, Bartomeu spoke to Gerard Pique, Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Sergi Roberto for about half an hour. Manager Quique Setien was also in attendance.
The report describes the meeting as “tense” and says that while the players appreciated the president’s “attempt at an explanation” they “remain uneasy” about the whole thing.
