The Argentine has been talking strikers

Hernan Crespo has been busy praising Barcelona captain Lionel Messi and telling Lautaro Martinez he should stay at Inter Milan.

The former Argentina international has been asked about both players who could end up playing together if Barcelona manage to lure Martinez from the Nerazzurri this summer.

“What I admire about Messi are the way he achieves things and his consistency. They kick him millions of times and he gets up and continues playing. He respects the opponent and the game to the fullest. This is an example that transcends soccer.

“He [Lautaro] is a very serious and very focused boy. I really like that. He has a lot of personality. He is a complete player who can play in attack both alone and with another striker.

“I would like him to stay at Inter because this has been his first year as a starter. I wish he had a little more solid foundation before another change comes along. Trains slow down at the best stations, and Lautaro is one of them. We will see.”

Sport have reported that Barcelona have agreed a five-year deal with Lautaro worth €12m a year plus bonuses. The striker has reportedly made it clear he wants to move to the Camp Nou, but Barca still have to strike a deal with the Serie A side.
