Setien praises ‘extraordinary’ Puig after Leganes win

Barcelona manager Quique Setien was full of praise for Riqui Puig after a bright performance off the bench for the youngster against Leganes.

The midfielder replaced Arthur on 73 minutes and offered a reminder of his talents as Barcelona secured all three points with a 2-0 win.

Setien spoke about the 20-year-old after the match and praised the youngster for his performance.

“I have seen him very good, he has come out with a lot of energy and he has done an extraordinary job. It is not easy to join the team, but this is what he should do. Take advantage of the minutes like today.

“It is a pity that he did not score, because He has been close to doing it. I greatly appreciate what he has done and the presence he has had.”
