The striker is feeling good ahead of Real Mallorca clash

Luis Suarez has been talking about his recovery from knee surgery and the imminent return of La Liga with Barcelona set to restart against Real Mallorca on June 13.

The Uruguay international is expected to be given the green light to make his return against Vicente Moreno’s side at Son Moix and seems in pretty good spirits.

“I feel very good, adapting to training with my team-mates,” he said. “Returning after an injury is always difficult, because you are a little scared but I’m enjoying being back.”

Suarez also spoke about how Barcelona will have to get used to the different conditions when the competition does resume after a three-month suspension.

The delay means fixtures will be played in the summer, while games will also be played without fans for the foreseeable future.

“We are not used to playing in so much heat in the middle of summer. We are adapting to playing without a crowd which will be peculiar. We will continue to focus on winning games to win the league title, which is what we all want.”

There is a slim chance some fans could be allowed into stadiums before the end of the season. Spain’s Health Emergency Coordinator Fernando Simon said on Tuesday the issue had been discussed and will be evaluated during the de-escalation process.
