The left-back misses Sunday’s clash
Barcelona confirmed on Sunday that Junior Firpo is out of Sunday’s game at Villarreal because of a hip injury.
The left-back was named in the initial travelling squad for the match but won’t feature at all at the Estadio de la Cerámica because of the problem.

Of course it’s unlikely Quique Setien would have named Junior in his starting XI, but his absence does leave Barca a little short of back-up options in defence.
Samuel Umtiti is also missing with another knee problem, but Barca B youngsters Dani Morer, Ronald Araujo and Jorge Cuenca are also in the squad.
