The left-back wants to stay in Spain

Juan Miranda has been talking about his future after his loan deal with Bundesliga side Schalke was cut short.

The 20-year-old departed last summer on a two-year deal but has returned to Barcelona after making just 12 appearances for the club.

Miranda sounds keen to stay at Barcelona now but will meet with the club shortly to talk about where he will play his football next season.

“We will meet to see the plan that both my family and Barça have. Who does not want to be in the first team? Both my family and I, we are clear that since I am 20 years old, I have to play and if it is in Spain then better. Barca B would also be a good option if they go up. We would have to talk about it.”

The youngster also did not rule out another move away but added he did not want to go abroad again and would favor staying in Spain because it suits his style of football better.
