Gossip: Fulham make offer for Gerard Pique

Could the defender return to the Premier League?

Gerard Pique’s post-match comments after Barcelona’s defeat to Bayern that he could leave the Camp Nou if it’s the best thing finally appear to have caught the attention of the rumor mill.

According to Libero, newly-promoted Premier League side Fulham fancy making a move for the center-back and want to bring Pique back to England.

Indeed the Cottagers have even put an offer on the table, and it’s now up to Pique and Barcelona to see if there’s any interest in heading to west London.

Pique was a virtual ever-present in the starting XI last season but will turn 34 in February and seems to be more aware than most that his time at the club is coming to an end.

Barcelona already seem to be planning for life after Pique. Ronald Araujo is expected ot be promoted to the squad for next season, while the club also want Eric Garcia back.
