Ter Stegen apologizes to fans for Bayern thrashing
The goalkeeper calls for change
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has apologized to supporters and called for change in the wake of Friday’s Champions League thrashing by Bayern Munich.
The Germany goalkeeper had a very tough night against the Bavarian giants, shipping eight goals on a rare off-night for the 28-year-old.
Gerard Pique has already called for changes to be made at the club after the hammering, and Ter Stegen says Barcelona “definitely” need to take action.
Here’s what the goalkeeper’s had to say:
Really tough times. Culers, I feel really sorry for what happened yesterday. I’m disappointed. I don’t want to search for excuses - because there are none. We definitely need to change. pic.twitter.com/2kUIFiKY7F

Barcelona are believed to be holding a board meeting on Monday which could see Quique Setien sacked and bring news on who could come in and replace the 61-year-old at the helm at the Camp Nou.
