Barcelona B right-back Dani Morer has left the club and signed for Portuguese side Famalicão.

The 22-year-old, who played 21 times for Barca B last season, moves for a small fee but Barca do retain some rights in case of a future transfer.

Here’s the club’s official statement:

“FC Barcelona and Famalicao have reached an agreement for the transfer of Barça B player Dani Morer. The Portuguese team will pay FC Barcelona 400,000 euros. Barça also secures 45% of the player’s rights in the event of a future transfer.”

Morer did train with the first team at times last season and was expected to be included in the squad for the Champions League final eight tournament but missed out with a thigh injury.
