Can Ronald Koeman’s men make it three out of three?

Barcelona are back in action again on Sunday when they welcome Europa League winners Sevilla to the Camp Nou.

Ronald Koeman’s side have had a busy week with games against Villarreal and Celta and will be hoping to continue the good form they’ve shown so far.

Let’s look at how they could line-up on Sunday.

Defence

Neto is yet to concede a goal in La Liga in his first two games and will continue between the sticks with Marc-Andre ter Stegen still out injured. The Brazilian’s been doing a pretty good job in Ter Stegen’s absence and let’s hope he can keep that up in the coming weeks.

Koeman has a decision to make at right-back with Sergino Dest having arrived from Ajax. Will he throw him in from the start? It’s possible but it’s more likely that Sergi Roberto will start this one.

In central defence there will be a change with Clement Lenglet suspended. Ronald Araujo looks certain to be Gerard Pique’s partner, while Jordi Alba will continue at left-back.

Miralem Pjanic has yet to start for his new club and didn’t even get off the bench last time out against Celta. He could come into the reckoning if Koeman decides to freshen things up and is most likely to replace Sergio Busquets.

The 32-year-old and Frenkie de Jong have been Koeman’s preferred partnership so far, but it could be time for the new boss to see what the former Juventus man can do in a Barcelona shirt.

Attack

Barcelona’s attack looked in great shape against Celta with Lionel Messi, Philippe Coutinho and Ansu Fati all shining. It was a tough night for Antoine Griezmann though, he was taken off in the first half after Lenglet had seen red.

Koeman may therefore be reluctant to change a winning team but has tons of options if he does want to try something new.

Francisco Trincao, Pedri and Ousmane Dembele are all fit, available and will be hoping for a first start of the season.

Possible XI: Neto; Roberto, Pique, Araujo, Alba; Pjanic, De Jong; Griezmann, Coutinho, Ansu; Messi.
