Philippe Coutinho aiming to recover in time for Atlético Madrid match
The Brazilian is recovering from an injury to his left leg
Philippe Coutinho is said to be accelerating his recovery in hopes of being fit enough to take on Atlético Madrid in a pivotal match.
He has been out with an injury to his left leg since the 24th of October, but Coutinho is now training apart from the group and signs are said to be good for him to train normally starting next week.
Barcelona take on Atlético on the 21st of this month, after the international break.
Coutinho had been playing regularly under Ronald Koeman after spending last season on loan to Bayern Munich. His recovery could be useful for the manager, who recently lost Ansu Fati for four months.
The Brazilian attacker could be a starter for Koeman if his recovery continues down a good path.
