A kind gesture from Saturday’s opponents
Real Betis have sent a message of support to Ansu Fati after he suffered a knee injury against Manuel Pellegrini’s side on Saturday.
The teenager was taken off at half-time after feeling some discomfort and was subsequently diagnosed with a mensicus tear.
The club tweeted: “Much courage, Ansu Fati. We hope you have a good recovery and we’ll see you back on the pitch soon.”

Barcelona confirmed at the weekend that Fati will undergo surgery on Monday and the club will announce after the operation how long he will be out of action for.
It’s expected Barcelona will have to cope without their talented teenager for a number of months, and he may not be ready to return until March 2020.
