Barca are set to face Athletic tomorrow in what is their first away match of 2021. The team kicked off the new year with a win over Huesca that takes them into fifth place in the table but still 10 points behind Atletico Madrid who have a game in hand.
Athletic are down in ninth and are seven points behind Barca. The Basque side beat Elche 1-0 on Sunday but then fired coach Gaizka Garitano and replaced with him Marcelino.
