Messi makes classy gesture to Elche goalkeeper after win
More great stuff from the skipper
Lionel Messi bagged a brace for Barcelona against Elche on Wednesday to help the hosts secure a 3-0 win in La Liga and also showed his class after the match too.
The Barcelona captain went over to goalkeeper Édgar BadÃa after the final whistle and handed over his shirt. Messi then gestured for Badia’s shirt, a move that seemed to take the stopper by complete surprise.
Of course Badia gladly handed over his shirt in what was a really nice moment between the two players at the Camp Nou.

Jordi Alba also scored in the win that takes Barcelona into third place in the table ahead of Saturday’s trip to the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán to face Sevilla.
Meanwhile, Messi is now two clear in the race for the Pichichi after his latest double. The Argentine has 18 for the season in La Liga and overtakes Luis Suarez in the race to be crowned the top scorer in 2020-21.
