Ilaix reacts to Barca’s Clasico defeat
The youngster is looking to the future
Ilaix Moriba sent a message to Barcelona fans after Saturday’s disappointing Clasico defeat to Real Madrid in La Liga.
The 18-year-old once again featured in a crucial match for the Catalan giants and came within a whisker of grabbing a last-gasp equalizer.
Unfortunately for Barca, Moriba’s late effort hit the crossbar, but the youngster seemed in pretty defiant mood after the match.
He wrote on Instagram, “We will rise. I will always give everything for this club that has given me so much.”
Moriba certainly gave everything against Madrid in another promising cameo. He memorably squared up to Casemiro after a typically poor challenge from the Brazilian and helped Barca push forward in search of another goal in his 20 minutes or so on the pitch.
