But could a decent bid change his mind?

Clement Lenglet’s future at Barcelona seems uncertain after a difficult campaign last time out and with rumors Everton are interested in the France international.

Yet it seems that the center-back may not be moving on this summer after all with the defender apparently not too interested in a move away.

ESPN’s Sam Marsden offered the following update on Twitter and reported Lenglet’s representatives have told clubs that the 26-year-old is not leaving the Camp Nou this summer.

“On Lenglet-Everton rumours. Last week, player’s camp said there had been interest (no names) but that they had been clear with the clubs: Lenglet is not moving this summer. Maybe that changes with big offer if Barça try and push out, but that’s situ atm.”

Lenglet said earlier this summer he had no intention of leaving when asked about his future and did sign a contract extension towards the end of last year.

Yet you a suspect a big offer may just tempt Barca into selling, particularly considering the club’s financial situation, and with Eric Garcia having also arrived as another defensive option.

Sport’s Toni Juanmarti reckons that Barca expected offers for Lenglet to arrive and that “the summer is long” but a move is not completely ruled out. “We will see,” seems to be the current thinking regarding Lenglet.
